We are looking to recruit two Junior software Control Engineers, Your main responsibility is to work on customer projects from design stage, through to providing onsite support to Commissioning Engineers. You will be responsible for the writing of control programmes which utilise PLC, HMI, motion controllers, robotics, servos, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Requirements: •Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics – Qualification and training must be completed (Please attach your statement of results and qualification certificate) •Drivers license •Must have own transport to work and on-site within a 30km radius of home •Familiarisation with Siemens PLC ’s is required •ABB or Yaskawa robotic systems knowledge is desirable •PLC, HMI, Motion Controller programming knowledge •Strong Electrical automation / control system knowledge •Robotic knowledge •Auto CAD electrical or Auto CAD Eplan is an advantage •You will need to be a ‘hands on’ Engineer, fully conversant with modern manufacturing systems •You must be able to work as a team and also unsupervised for extended periods of time Role & Responsibilities: Accept ownership of projects from design to completion •Design and implementation of automation systems •Develop PLC and motion control software •Commission and test control systems and software •Provide written technical reports and other documentation as required by customers.
