A new privately owned bakery will soon open its doors in Tzaneen. This is Non AA/EE positions:(Anyone can apply). This is shift work.You will work one week from 03h00 till 11h00 and the next week from 11h00 till 19h00. You must stay in Tzaneen town and/or have your own transport to and from work as transport won't be provided/available.(Make sure you understand this clearly). You must be neat on yourself as person. No drinkers and/or druggies need to apply. 1) 2 x Shift Managers.(Previous management experience is a MUST.Preferably in a bakery/deli and fast food environment). 2) 1 x Chief Cashier.(No criminal record.Previous cash office and till supervisor experience.Must know the cash up system,BDR,Petty Cash etc). 3) 2 x Cashiers.(No criminal record.A Police clearance will be done.Previous experience as cashier). 4) 2 x Bakers.(Must be a experienced baker.From bread to cakes to school buns etc.You will undergo a test). 5) 10 x General workers.(No cellphone addicted people). 6) 2 x Cleaners. 7) 2 x Security guards.(Grade C or D and Psira registered). 8) 1 x Technician.(Must have knowledge on bakery and deli equipment and at least 2 years experience.We need a hands on person (Male/Female) who can work independantly without supervision). 9) 2 x Drivers.(Code EB with PDP and at least 5 years driving experience with a clean accident history and a NON DRINKER). 10) 1 x Sales rep.(Own reliable transport.Must know the Tzaneen and surrounding areas). Main purpose of the job Provide customer support by attending routine services (per OEM standards) vehicle repairs, on-road repairs and preventative maintenance in the workshop. Requirements (qualifications, experience & skills) Grade 12/Matric/National Senior certificate Diploma Completed Mechanic or Electrical qualification, related to Mechanical & Electrical repairs and diagnostic equipment Advantage - Certified DAF Master technician Minimum of 4 years experience in a workshop environment Experience with Truck repairs is essential Roadside repair and vehicle diagnosis, Experience in Major component, Mechanical & electrical repairs and diagnostic equipment Ideal: Previous experience of DAF vehicle maintenance and repairs Role responsibilities Diagnose vehicle mechanical faults and repair requirements accurately Diagnose vehicle electrical faults and repair requirements Repair & maintain vehicle/s as assigned Conclude job card/s accurately for all workshop activities Complete root cause analysis of major component failures Attend to breakdowns, including stand-by service (day and night) Maintain levels of productivity and efficiency as instructed Perform shift work when required Manage all Repair Shop Assistants in the workshop and ensure: all tools and equipment is in a safe area before and after usage, and in working order Damaged tools reported in the workshop, by Service Technicians, are attended to with priority Manage all Repair Shop Assistants in the workshop and ensure the work area is safe prior to starting work This is an AA/EE appointment and ONLY applications from South African Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (HDI) candidates will be considered.
