NDT TECHNICIAN IN POTGIETERSRUS

We are searching for an experienced ndt technician with extensive knowledge of welding defects and ndt techniques with the focus VT, MT and UT Candidate should have the following: · Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) level 2 SAIW only. · Ultrasonic Testing (UT) level 2 SAIW only. · Grade 12/ N3 pure mathematics and physical science min 50% pass rate. · At least 5 years in similar position. · provide NDE inspection planning/scheduling. · A background in the petrochemical and mining industries are preferable. · Able to read drawings. · Computer literate. · Valid drivers license code 8 · Clear criminal record. · Able to communicate at all levels (English) · SAIW welding and fabrication inspector level 1/2 advantageous. · Trade Certificate boilermaking/ welding/ mechanical fitting advantageous. · Radiographic Testing level 1 advantageous. · Rope access certificate advantageous.
