NAVY DROP WAIST MIDI SKIRT IN SOUTH AFRICA

I so wanted to be able to wear this skirt. Good to have cotton and the drop waist is stylish. I'm 5' 5/" and the skirt on me reached the ground although it is sold as a 'midi' length. Has the Next regular length clothing altered in measurement? There was no option of a petite/short length so the garment had to be returned. A pity.
