KITCHEN ASSISTANT IN PAARL

Kitchen Assistant We have a permanent position available for a Kitchen Assistant at Knus Karoo Kombuis in Paarl. Working days: Monday – Saturday Hours: 07:15 – 15:45 Commencement of duties: November 2021 Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking) · Plating of food · Preparing of roosterkoeke (including making the dough and grilling the roosterkoeke on the fire) · Baking of various items including cakes, muffins etc. · Keeping kitchen and work area clean and hygienic · Helping in the kitchen where it is needed · Assisting the cleaner in the scullery area · Assisting the cleaner with washing (including the linen napkins) · Cleaning of the kitchen after shifts ends · Stocktaking Further requirements: Two years’ experience in a similar position · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans and English) · Energetic personality · Ability to work under pressure · Own reliable transport · Sober habits · Stocktaking · Contactable references available Please forward your CV before at recruitment.hr@historicwines.co.za If no response is received within two weeks after the, please accept that your application has been unsuccessful.
