Kambro Kind is situated in Sutherland, which is the coldest place in South Africa. You get the warmest welcome by your host Juanita Hutchings; Juanita is the daughter of Jurg and Rita Wagener. The guest house consists of seven en-suite rooms. Each room has a wall heating panel, electric blankets, linen & towels. They are furnished in traditional country style and there is Selected DStv 32" TV's in the bedrooms, a cosy fireplace in the communal lounge.The Tolhuis is an outside, fully sheltered braai area, a fully equipped kitchen area for guests’ use. Safe parking is available with five carports.Visit the famous South African Large Telescope or do a scenic route towards the Ouberg Pass on the escarpment and see how the road winds down some 1000 m below.Stargazing with Jurg at Sterland 1km outside of town towards Matjiesfotein (additional cost) Your rate is for accommodation only.
