JIMI HENDRIX RAINBOW BRIDGE IN SOUTH AFRICA

 Rainbow Bridge, the controversial 70s cult classic, has now been completely restored and is preserved here in its original full length theatrical form.  Set in Hawaii in 1970 it follows the journey of a young woman across the Pacific to Hawaii and the events once she arrives.  The music of Jimi Hendrix dominates the soundtrack and the centrepiece of the whole film is the stunning live footage of Hendrix's July 1970 concert atop the Haleakala Volcano accompanied by Mitch Mitchell on drums and Billy Cox on base.
