I recently tried out the Jeff Banks chunky socks, and while the fit is quite good, the material left something to be desired. Unfortunately, I found them to be rather scratchy, which made wearing them uncomfortable over time. The real downside was that they caused blisters due to the constant rubbing of the material against my feet. Overall, while they have a decent fit and could potentially be cozy, the rough texture and resulting discomfort make them a less-than-ideal choice for me. Proceed with caution if you're considering these socks, especially if you have sensitive skin.
