IT INTERN (12 MONTHS) IN PAARL

We are a Paarl based manufacturing concern seeking the services of an IT Intern. The incumbent’s role will be to assist the IT Administrator with IT related tasks. 1) Education and Qualifications: · Grade 12 Certificate · CompTIA A+ Certification · CompTIA Network+ Certification · CompTIA Security+ Certification – Optional Preferred Qualification, but not required: · MCSE Diploma/Computer Science degree or equivalent · MCSA Diploma/Computer Science degree or equivalent 2) Skills, Knowledge and Other Requirements · Windows 8 and 10; · Windows server 2012R2; · Active Directory; · Microsoft Office 365/2016; · Remote Management Software (Anydesk, Teamviewer etc); · Basic Scripting in either C# or Visual Studio; · Excellent written and verbal communication skills; · Accuracy with attention to detail and a sense of urgency; · Own transport. 3) Main areas of responsibility will include: · Daily hardware checks; · Daily Antivirus checks; · Installation of OS and Apps on workstations; · Network fault troubleshooting and repair; · Network Cabling; · MS Office 365/2016 support; · Windows10/8 support; · Helpdesk Support; · Server 2012R2 Support; · Printer Maintenance; · Communicating with service providers.
