Day 4 Qsar Al Yahud Baptismal site, JERICHO, (B)(D) Jordan River Valley,Qumran,Dead Sea
Drive along the Jordan Valley to JERICHO - Elijah fountain and ruins of ancient city walls - QSAR AL YAHUD baptismal site (The site is also significant in the Jewish tradition, as it is believed to be the place where the Children of Israel crossed the Jordan when they entered Canaan) – on our way to Bethlehem we overlook the Judean Desert, QUMRAN where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and swim (floating) in the waters of the DEAD SEA at Qumran which have amazing healing powers.
