Grade 8 to 12 Afrikaans FAL (one class per grade) and Life Orientation Grade 9 (two classes) Educator. Requirements and qualifications: 1. BEd degree or PGCE. 2. SACE registered. 3. Two years’ experience in the teaching environment in Afrikaans and Life Orientation. 4. Computer Literate with Microsoft programmes experience. 5. Online teaching learning material development and offering. 6. English medium on an advanced level. 7. Driver’s License 8. South African Citizen Some of the core duties that will be expected: • Education of Afrikaans FAL Grade 8 to 12 and Life Orientation Grade 9, both onsite and online learning. • Managing and maintenance of subject files, learner portfolios and learner personal files. • Meetings, online or onsite, with parents regarding the learners’ progress and specific needs. • Managing and offering remedial classes to build strong basis in subject knowledge offered. • Working with and for the immediate school Community. • Adherence to moderation policies of the School and the Department of Basic Education. • Management and offering of extra-curricular activities.
