EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE REQUIRED IN UPINGTON

National electrical wholesaler is looking for young dynamic individuals with an electrical background. Prior sales experience in the electrical industry would also be beneficial, the right personality and drive is a must though. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements. · Maintain sales and support to new and existing clients. · Calling and following up on Industry end users, switchgear panel builders, system integrators, consultants and contractors. · Conduct preliminary site inspections and energy studies together with engineer and technician. · Compile an accurate and comprehensive data base on customers and their relationships/influences. · Generating growth of allocated and new customer base on power quality products and solutions. · Prepare customer proposals, reports and quotations. · Prepare and conduct training/presentations to customers. · Conducting exhibitions and customer specific training if required. · Update customer base on product updates and new products. · Prepare and report on sales for your respective allocated area. · Attend key project or customer meetings. · Report on competitor activities in the area. · Compile monthly sales review and forecasts. · Assist engineering and technical staff with projects and studies. A valid grade 12 certificate (essential). · Tertiary qualification preferably in Electrical Engineering. · A minimum of 3-4 years electrical sales experience. · A strong knowledge of electrical products. · Must be computer literate. · An intimate knowledge of the area will be an advantage. · Must have a valid driver’s license.
