BUYER / PORT ELIZABETH - A Food Distribution Company in PE, seeks an experienced Buyer with FMCG buying experience. Minimum Requirements: Further studies advantageous Min. 2 years Previous Experience as a Buyer/ Purchasing Agent in FMCG Environment Excellent PC Skills (Excel spreadsheets, Word, Outlook) Excellent verbal communication skills - English The Suitable Candidate must have/be: High attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work large volumes. Responsible and reliable. Managed Stock Levels – Inventory Optimisation. Price negotiations experience Able to take Initiative Analytical thinker with the ability to Problem Solve Experience in sourcing quality suppliers and stock. Identifying / sourcing of stock items. Contact suppliers in writing or by telephone for any queries. Follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries / special orders. Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries. Engage with suppliers / colleagues and clients in a professional manner. Stock Taking.
