EXPERIENCED BIKE MECHANIC IN SOUTH AFRICA

DarkHorse Bikes, based in Paarden Island, Cape Town We are looking for a professional and experienced Bike Mechanic with 5 + years experience with building up new bikes to join our team assembling our ebikes. A strong technical knowledge and hands on workshop experience on e-bikes, Mtb and Road bikes will also be required. Experience in wheel building will be an advantage. The preferred candidate must be: * Of clean and sober habits. * He or she must be a cyclist * Good communication skills. * Have own transport. * Must have 5+ years experience in building and servicing bikes. * Must be able to communicate with customers in a friendly professional manner. * Have strong current and up to date technical knowledge of various bicycle technologies and components. * Extensive knowledge of hydraulic brakes service and repair * Be willing and able to work on all types of Bicycles including e bikes, MTB, and Road * Have EPS and DI2 working knowledge * Working Monday to Friday with weekends off (however will be required to work some events over weekends) * Be willing to work at the bicycle events/races some weekends.
