ENTRY LEVEL TELEPHONIST IN EAST LONDON

Energetic, high volume practice in seek of a self motivated individual to join our team as a Telephonist. Main responsibility will be as a telephonist; answering all calls, resolving queries if possible, otherwise diverting the call to the relevant person. Other duties include (but not limited to) filing, preparing prescriptions, calling medical aids for authorizations & registering patients for chronic medicine or PMB consultations (or emailing medical aids where possible), assisting the PAs with their work loads. Candidate needs to be aware that there are roughly about 1700 calls that come through on busy days. We therefore need a reliable candidate with a strong work ethic.
