PROJECT MANAGER / ENGINEER The Project Manager/Engineer role will be to effectively manage resources to execute Turnkey Projects as per company services offered which include Piping Installations, Fabrication and Water Treatment. Key Performance Areas • Develop NEW Client Database • Maintain existing Client Database and ensure Customer Satisfaction • Preparation of Quotations and Tender Submissions • Effective Project Budget Tracking and Project Variation Management • Effective Communication to all Project Stakeholders • Preparation of Monthly Project Claims • Identify, Record and Mitigate Project Risks • Preparation of Project Feedback and Progress Reports • Develop Design and Manufacturing Drawings • Project Resource Allocation and Time Management • Development of Project Budgets and Bill of Quantities • Compilation of Project Data/Validation Files • Project Data Compilation and Retention • Compliance with Site/Project SHE Requirements • Project Objectives and Responsibilities Communication • Project Staff Management • Recruiting Project Staff Personal Attributes • Attention to Detail • Excellent Time Management Skills • Presentable with excellent Communication and Coordinating Skills • Ability to produce Accurate Results within Prescribed Deadlines • Positive, Self-Motivated and Confident • Creative and lateral thinker in terms of value-added work on projects • Energetic, Accurate and Methodically Orientated • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills • Excellent Communication and Writing Skills • Honest and Reliable • Emotional Intelligence Experience and Qualifications • 2-3 Years Mechanical/Engineering Project Management Experience • 2-3 Years Design/Draughtsman Experience (Inventor or Similar) • Project Management and/or Mechanical Engineering Qualification (Diploma Adequate) • Water Treatment Design and Understanding - Advantageous • Knowledge of Engineering Design Codes and Technical Standards • Turnkey Project Management Experience (Cradle to Grave Concept) • Health and Safety Legislation and Construction Site Regulations Knowledge • Labour Relations Management Skills • Piping Installation Methodology and Design - Advantageous • Valid Code 08 Drivers License including own Reliable Transport • Prepared and Keen to Travel (Incl. African Countries) Computer Literacy • MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) • Advanced Microsoft Excel – Advantageous • Advanced Autodesk Inventor (or Equivalent) • AutoCAD and/or Similar • MS Projects Package Offered This position will attract a Market Related salary according to qualification and experience gained.
