A Stiffer Cage prevents flex under load giving you a faster, more precise a better feeling gear change ! Tension+ allows you add additional spring tension, giving your derailleur a prolonged lifespan. There are 2 spring mounting locations, Standard and Tension+ this can A increase spring tension for sharper shifting or B increasing your old floppy derailleurs lifespan by adding some more tension into it. We have added an additional 2 bolts enabling forces to be taken off the bearings, overall increase stiffness and makes for easier installation / servicing. Coming in at only 68.5 grams it's a mere 12 grams more than the original GX cage but offers much more functionality, protection, stiffness and overall durability.
