Civil Engineering uses scientific and engineering principles to construct the physical and natural building environment, including the structures such as bridges, roads, canals, dams, and buildings. Qualifying learners will also be able to relate their learning to scientific and technological principles and concepts. They will also be able to support and maintain the various policies related to the safety, health, environment and quality systems that do govern their workplaces. Civil Engineering is grouped into seven major divisions of Engineering:

 Urban Planning,
 Materials Engineering,
 Coastal Engineering,
 Surveying,
Qualifying Learners at N6 will be able to:
