AREA MANAGER - CITRUS & GRAPES (CR376) IN STELLENBOSCH

Our client, a fruit export company based in Stellenbosch, is looking for an Area Manager (Citrus & Grapes) to join their team. The Area Manager’s main responsibility is to manage all aspects of their grower base to assure compliance to customers’ quality and program requirements. The key management areas include quality assessment, harvest estimate submission, program planning and progress reporting. REQUIREMENTS * BSc. Agriculture or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in the fruit industry, or * 5 years’ experience in the fruit export industry * Fluent in Afrikaans and English * Good communication skills * Computer literate and be able to communicate effectively via email and telephone * Good time management skills * Work diligently and have attention to detail * Work under pressure and make informed decisions * Be able to travel * Valid South African driver’s licence and a South African Passport SALARY Negotiable depending on experience Please use the following reference number in the subject line of your email: CR376 when applying for this position.
