ANTIQUE DINNER SERVICE FOR 4 PEOPLE IN STELLENBOSCH

Dinner service for 4 people. Wedding gift in 1930’s, made in UK. Consists of 12 flat plates, 4 of each size, diameters 176mm, 210mm, 227mm. 4 Soup plates 227mm. Vegetable serving dishes (2) with lid 250mm, and gravy boat 185mm long. Two flat oval and round serving dishes 290 and 260mm. Bigger serving dishes (365 and 315mm long) are a little discoloured. Almost all the plates have fine lines on the surface due to age, but these lines are not cracks. The dishes can be used in a microwave oven, but probably not in a dishwasher. Price R500 for all the dishes (21 of them) except the somewhat discoloured serving dishes, which are free. A few extra dishes at R20 each are available.
