ALARM TECHNICIAN - EAST LONDON IN EAST LONDON

Established Security Service Company is looking for a Technician to join the team. The purpose of the Alarm Technician is to ensure that all work as assigned is done to standard and the best of one’s ability. The key aspects of this position are to ensure that the calls that have been assigned are done timeously, correctly, and billed correctly. Responsibilities: Installation/Repair/Maintenance of Alarm Systems. Keep informed of new products and developments. Performing General Physical Activities – Such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials and equipment. Communicate with Head Office and Branch Staff. Training and Teaching others. Operating vehicles, mechanized devices or Equipment. Maintenance of own stock. Req: Computer Skills - Basic understanding of computers required. Literacy and Numeracy - must have passed.English/Afrikaans with a gr 10 level. Must have mathematics to a gr9 level. Valid Drivers License Min 3 years alarm experience Psira registered Texecom a must CCTV experience will be to your advantage EAS experience will be to your advantage Strong admin skills Ability to work under pressure towards strict deadlines Willing to travel (company bakkie, cellphone and laptop will be provided for work purposes) Position requires weekend/after hours standby as per roster Send CV's to bennie@locksecure.co.za and use TECH_EC as ref.
