A PAIR OF VINTAGE INDONESIAN WAYANG SHADOW PUPPETS IN PORT ELIZABETH

A Vintage pair of Indonesian Rod Shadow Puppets (Wayang Golek) on stands. Each puppet is hand-carved from wood and then hand-painted. There are two puppets, Arjuna and Sinto, showing fair age-related condition. each puppet is about 16cm tall from the top of the head to the base of the stick below the body. Both stand on wooden bases showing some wear.
